Your Woul at Goldhill Centre, Thomson Road (3 Oct 08)

I have been korean food crazy this few days... maybe, I am missing Seoul. I was around the Thomson area. To be specific, Goldhill Centre beside United Square.

Your Woul is another one of your typical Korean restaurants in Singapore. Run by korean owners. Small, clean and probably seats about 6-8 tables. It has private dining rooms as well. The restaurant was empty when I got there. Perhaps it was past dinner time. Gosh, 9pm...

Ordered the "kimchi jjige". Suppose to be a fairly light meal. The kimchi spicy soup was cooked at your table. They have the portable canister gas stove and the soup and ingredients is brought to a boil. Besides, the kimchi and soup, other ingredients includes mushroom, white beancurd, rice cake and slices of pork. The soup was a bit mild in the beginning but as you boil longer, the soup gets spicier and spicier. Before long, I was drenched with sweat. Took one and a half bowl of rice to tame the spiciness.

Can't really tell how good the food is by just the "kimchi jjige". Definitely want to come back again. For now, I would say 3 cilipadi. Service was attentive and the staff were very friendly.
