25 Hours Hotel Frankfurt Tailored by Levi's
First stop, Frankfurt. Destination number one in a 2-week European winter escapade. Flying the red-eye Malaysia Airlines flight and touching down as the day began to dawn. The clearing of immigration and baggage collection was orderly and rather painless. From Terminal 2, a 10-minute bus transfer drops you at Terminal 1, where you catch the train to the city main train station, Frankfurt Main Hauptbahnhof. Don't be confused with "Frankfurt am Main", which is the full name for the city. Anyway, it is easy to ask for direction as most locals speak English.
Not planning to lament over how long this blog has been abandoned but it is a priority to resuscitate this blog in the long list of resolutions for 2015. So hopefully, this sharing of the recent free and easy trip (December 19 - January 3) to Frankfurt, Berlin, Prague, Vienna and Salzburg would bring life to this blog again.
The 25 Hours Hotel Frankfurt is located about 10 minutes walk away from the Main Hauptbahnhof. Take the east exit and head towards Niddastraße. Don't forget to take a picture of the station façade features a large clock with two symbolic statues for day and night. Along the way to the hotel, you will pass the tram track and also spot quite a few Asian restaurants.
The 25 Hours hotel is a chain of 7 hotels with presence in Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Zurich and Frankfurt. Each hotel is unique and tailored to its surroundings. I am a sucker for boutique hotels and didn't waste this chance to stay in one tailored by Levi's.
It has 76 guests room, a nice restaurant "Chez Ima" which opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves a fairly decent breakfast but for €16. Seems like it is also a very popular dining destination for the locals because it gets very busy at night. Perhaps it is also a popular business hotel because of its proximity to the train station.
"Real place, Real people. Seven hotels in our five favourite cities are looking forward to meeting active spirits with tired bodies. 25hours hotels are not merely ‘off the shelf’; they are tailored to each location. Sometimes cool, sometimes colourful, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes mundane – 25hours hotels offer not only bed and breakfast but plenty of entertainment, surprises and fun, too." 25Hours Hotel

What impresses me most about the hotel is the very well designed rooms. The space planning and allocation of storage space was very clever. Your luggage can be stored neatly in the cupboard. Ample space for storing your clothes. Especially, loving the hanger rack which provides ample hooks for your winter jackets.
A funky leather postal sling bag for your use during your stay adds more TLC. Matching wallpaper, carpet and furnishing capturing the very essence of Levi's. Bed was comfortable but the soft pillows takes a little getting use to. Quirky messages for housekeeping and environmentally friendly reminders on your natural honey lemon shampoo bottles adds the fun element and environmental righteousness.

You can also use the Fitness First gym which is a few minutes walk from the hotel further down Niddastraße. It has a "Jogging Corner" where adequate supply of water is merchandised on its shelves, a pocket size foldable map for a 20 minutes jogging trail and towels!

The 3 nights stay here at 25Hours Levi's was a joy. Service was friendly. Staff were every willing to help - printing out train itinerary, providing tourist information and much more. It is highly recommended that you book early. I tried to book the other 25Hotels in Berlin and Vienna but they were full. Well, maybe next time...
