Chicago Steakhouse Signature Steak

Image
8 Sept - Chicago Steakhouse at Orchard Cineleisure Introducing the Chicago Steakhouse Signature Steak... flambéed and served on a hotplate; Now you see it, then you see on fire... ha ha!! Unfortunately, that was the only thrill. The steak was average... in my view, any steak that has to be accompanied by a sauce is likely to be mediocre. Anyway, the soup bowl was good and the texas wings was so so... 1 out of 5 chili padi is all I would give. The only consolation is that the service was pretty good.

LTP Restaurant In Malim Jaya, Melaka

I attended my ex-classmate, Terence Ho's wedding dinner in Melaka yesterday night and I just wanted to share this in my blog. The food was out of this world!!! It was not entirely different but the quality was there and it was delicious. Then came the most impressive course... I was expecting the usual starchy crab meat and sharks fin soup but no... we ...

One of those place you want to go quickly before it is gone. Well, that was my motivation at least but I am happy to report that there are some restoration and preservation work going on at the moment by the French, Japanese and the Indians (depending on which 'wat' you go to). So, don't worry if you think you are too late... Anyway, Siem Reap is a small town... oh well, I didn't venture very far from the town centre to begin with and the reason was because I stayed in such a wonderful hotel... Hotel De La Paix (pronounced like "de-lah-peh"); Sorry if it sounds like some hokkien vulgarity. Colonial building dressed in avant-garde contemporary feel with subtle touches of Khmer heritage here and there. The deluxe room was spacious. I like the bathtub which is made out of a piece of marble and the wa...
